A certificate of attendance is issued following the Annual Congress on completion of the evaluation form which is sent via email to each delegate. Delegates may request a certificate of attendance up to six months following an Annual Congress, after this time a certificate will not be issued, it is the responsibility of the delegate to make sure they receive their certificate of attendance within the stated time.


The 2020 BOFAS Annual meeting will be held in Torquay. This has been rescheduled to 17-19 March 2021









Programme:  Due to the successful introduction of the conference App in 2018, and in order to save paper and the society's funds, the conference programme was not printed in 2019 and we plan the same for 2020/21. The 2019 programme is available as a full pdf here and on the App.

Abstracts:  abstract submission has been rescheduled and will be announced in the summer.

Your course certificate will be issued upon receipt of feedback.

CPD Accreditation

The 2019 meeting was accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh for the following CPD (recognition no RCSEd02361). Details for the 2020/21 meeting will follow.

Accomodation: A link to a range of accommodation in the local area around the Riviera Conference Centre will be available to book through this website once available from Torbay Tourist Information Bureau.

BOFAS members qualify for reduced registration rates. Registration will open in the spring.

EFAS members are entitled to receive the same discount on the registration fee as BOFAS members. If you are a member of EFAS but not of BOFAS, please register and pay the non-member rate and email us to arrange a refund of the difference.
