Applicants are welcomed to join the orthopaedic department as travelling foot and ankle trauma fellows for 1-2 weeks. It will be a great opportunity to exchange knowledge, showcase our scope of practice and our management of complex injuries. The fellows will mainly be observing and will not be in involved in direct patient care.
The foot and ankle/ Limb reconstruction unit at SSMC orthopaedic department is run by two experienced UK trained consultants. The unit is part of a large orthopaedic department which covers all aspects of Trauma & Orthopaedic surgery in the largest Trauma Centre in the Gulf region.

BOFAS does not directly fund this visitation but successful applicants are invited to apply for the £500 BOFAS visitation fellowship.

Applications with a CV should be sent to Mr Moez Ballal
