The BOFAS/AFAP Principles Course is an exciting course designed to teach the core foot & ankle content  in an informal and interactive environment. There is emphasis on clinical examination cases and discussion groups.

BOFAS accredited faculty.

Course Content:
The day will start with short presentations covering:

  • Selecting the correct imaging modality                
  • Interpreting Foot & Ankle Radiographs                              
  • Lesser metatarsal pathology- Surgical decision making               
  • Ankle Arthritis- Surgical decision making                           
  • Ankle instability/ Talar OCDs- Surgical decision making
  • Surface anatomy of the Foot & Ankle
  • The presentations will be followed by consultant teaching and facilitation of examination skills through case studies in small groups.

  • Clinical case presentations and case based discussions
