18Jan2024 Ankle arthroplasty: the state of the art 18/01/2024 - 19/01/2024 Read more Ankle arthroplasty: the state of the art This 2-day cadaver course in its 4th year, is held at the University of Barcelona focusing on the principles of ankle arthroplasty and case selection on the first day of the course with experienced ankle arthroplasty surgeons teaching the delegates on different designs of contemporary ankle replacements. You will also be performing ankle replacements on cadavers using at least 2 different types of replacements. There will also be case based discussions covering all aspects of ankle arthroplasty, including revision options. The second day of the course is concentrated on hindfoot fusion surgery, both tibiotalar and tibiotalocalcaneal fusions. Cadaver lab sessions will enable delegates practising on ankle fusion plates and hindfoot fusion nailing techniques.
