Fellows Research Forum

The Fellows Research Forum is a new invitational course, available as a full day for the first time this year after a successful pilot at the 2022 BOFAS Annual Congress. This is an initiative of the Scientific and Education Committees of the British Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society with the aim of giving UK fellows the tools to maximise their engagement in foot and ankle research as future consultants.

The course will employ interactive lectures and Q&A sessions to cover topics including an insider view of multi-centre trials, statistics frequently asked questions, an introduction to meta-analysis and systematic review and qualitative methods for orthopaedics. Course faculty are experienced and nationally recognised clinical academics, statisticians and methodologists who are keen to promote clinical research and give delegates the tools to develop their research interests and contribution.

Registration is by invitation only

Invitations to this course will be sent to all current UK Fellows who are registered on the BOFAS Fellows Registry.

If you are about to start a UK Fellowship or have already started your UK Fellowship please use the form below to register your interest in our Education Courses for UK Fellows.  By registering your details with BOFAS you will be invited to courses specifically designed for UK Fellows and New Consultants.  All invites will be generated from the registry list for current Fellows and all places will be issued on a first come first served basis.
