The British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (BOFAS) is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a role within the secretariat. BOFAS functions as a charitable organisation promoting the highest quality foot and ankle surgery, primarily within the UK, and consists of a membership of Orthopaedic surgeons and Allied Health professionals.
The Administrator & Governance Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management and administration of the Society, ensuring the effective delivery of governance, membership services, educational programmes, annual scientific meetings, communications and stakeholder engagement activities.
The postholder acts as the primary operational contact for Council, Committees, members, faculty, sponsors and partner organisations and ensures that all organisational activities are delivered to a high professional standard.
This position is remunerated on a self-employed basis with an anticipated 24hr working week. The postholder will be expected to occasionally increase hours dependent upon scheduled society business.
