Allied Health Professionals Bursary

Applications are invited for Allied Health Professionals bursaries of the British Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society.

Bursaries of up to £300 are available to support Allied Health Professionals wishing to attend BOFAS meetings related to Foot and Ankle Surgery, for those with no access to adequate alternative funding. The bursaries will be awarded on a competitive basis with applications being independently and anonymously scored.

Shortlisted applicants will need to submit a statement  (less than 300 words) summarising why they should receive a bursary and include within this  details of an Audit or Service Improvement they have been involved in which has improved the care of patients with Foot and Ankle problems.

Applications are now open. In the event of overwhelming interest Places will be allocated to those who show evidence of the best QIP or audit which improved the care of foot and ankle patients locally. The closing date is 1 December 2022. Applications already submitted after 1 June 2022 will be considered.
