Allied Health Professionals Bursary
Applications are invited for Allied Health Professionals bursaries of the British Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society.
Bursaries of up to £300 are available to support Allied Health Professionals wishing to attend BOFAS meetings related to Foot and Ankle Surgery, without access to adequate alternative funding. The bursaries will be awarded on a competitive basis with applications being independently and anonymously scored.
Shortlisted applicants will need to submit a statement (less than 300 words) summarising why they should receive a bursary and include within this details of an Audit or Service Improvement they have been involved in which has improved the care of patients with Foot and Ankle problems.
Applications for each year's meeting will close on 30th September of that year and will reopen on 1st September the following year.
The next bursary applications will open on 1st September 2021.
Successful applicants will be informed 1 month after the closing date.
