Courses organised by BOFAS
 

These courses are aimed at Higher Surgical Trainees / ST3 onwards and are designed to teach the core of Foot and Ankle surgery in an informal and interactive environment. The emphasis is on clinical examination cases, discussion groups and typical day-to-day clinic scenarios. Although not an exam preparation course, content is taught to the standard expected in the FRCS(Tr & Orth) exam; that of a day-one non-specialist orthopaedic consultant. Ankle Arthritis Academy

9-10th June 2026

The Ankle Arthritis Academy will be back on the Newcastle upon Tyne Quayside on the 9th and 10th of June 2026.

Over 2 days we will cover everything ankle arthritis with didactic lectures from an experienced national and international faculty with lots of case discussion and industry workshops.

Topics will include strategies to deal with early ankle arthritis and large osteochondral lesions, complex ankle fusions, dealing with large defects and primary and revision arthroplasty.
